So does he hate me?

We had a row, which is a shame because we were friends for so long.He is very hard to read.I never even knew he had feelings for me until he came out and said it.Occasionally he was a bit flirtatious,but I'm not a flirt so he toned it down and treated me with, what I thought, was respect.Well, as I said we had a row and he said some pretty nasty things to me and now sometimes he says hello, sometimes he doesn't.He seems really mad when he sees me, (even though I just took his comments and never retaliated), today I looked down at him and he just dropped his head and never looked back.He is friendly with everyone else, but that is usually the case when we are fighting, (we have only succeeded in being mates,not lovers).So I guess I want to know what the body language is for hate, when a man decides that he hates a woman?Help please and please don't be cruel.I am genuinely hurting here.
