Time to invest in risky stocks?

I know right now that in this market you should get commodities that are safe, blah blah. But I see this as an opportunity to make big money on fanancially linked institutions, like CIT, C, maybe even AIG or GM? Isn't right now, or soon (next month or so) the time to risk, while its cheap "and people aren't sure what is going to happen to the financiall institutions"?Aren'tt these the times where 10 years down the road people will have made alot money off this?
