Is there times when a Poly Marriage would be ideal?

That situation is so complicated I can't parse the paragraph describing it after two re-reads. If someone wants to take in someone down on their luck, OK, that's their choice. Usually it would be a bad choice for all, stressful, and usually that woman with many kids would get much child support and be OK. But I don't see why anyone can't get back on their feet, find an occasional night to date eventually - what's the rush, anyway - and I don't see why they'd all find it advantageous to be married to each other or all have together. Ideal? More like making life way too complicated than it has to be.
