Ok im a poolman and i am stumped on this one?

The white is bleached algae from killing it to much. to small for filter to catch. Water clear or mineral out will work some kinds better than others. What some kinds do is make it swell and expand for filter to catch or you can get stuff that make a film in your filter to catch small particles than backwash. My in ground used to that all the time.
