Do you hate it when someone judges you by one of your opinions?

i often feel misunderstood. everyone that really knows me knows tells me that im straight up the most honest, dependable and nicest person they know. im not easy to get to know tho. im really shy and i keep to myself so most people that think they know me really dont know the first thing about me, and yet i feel as tho the ones that dont know me at all think all the wrong things about me and im clueless to why? Do shy people come off as mean or something?
