Can jewish americans hel[p answer my question.?

I am Mestizo (half spanish and half honduran Indian) latin american who was adopted at 3 months old by white Jewish parents i am currenty 20. I have been a Jew my whole life and am in college. I love being jewish, but lately i am hesitant to admit i am jewish. Its not that i am ashamed, i just hate having to explain every time how i am jewish and hispanic. To Jewish American, how do you feel about non caucasian Jews? I am ashkenazi jewish, but some times I feel out of place even though i probably am more jewish than may people out there.
