Are Kaegal exercises useful to men who have leakage due to removal of prolonged use of the Foley catheter? ?

Yes, Kegel exercises do in fact strengthen the sphincter muscle which can become weakened (through atrophy) through long use of a catheter. They are also helpful in improving erectile dysfunction. To be effective, Kegel exercises should be performed on a consistent basis everyday. Try not to overdo. 3 sets of 12 should help you see improvements in about two weeks to a month.
